Are you easy to get to? / Any parking available?
Yes. A two minute walk up the road from the park lane interchange in Sunderland, we are easily accessible by metro or bus. We also have private parking at the rear of the practice.
How long will I be in clinic?
Each Visit will require you to be in clinic for 30 minutes.
What do I need to wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in, but be aware that the therapist may need to expose the affected area in order to carry out an effective assessment or treatment. With this in mind, shorts are advisable for conditions of the lower limbs.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on your presenting condition and how it responds to treatment and home care. In general, more recent injuries tend to respond quicker to intervention. However, even more chronic ailments can show marked improvement with the right care and advice.
Will it hurt?
Some discomfort may be experienced with rehabilitation of most conditions, however, this is kept to a minimum wherever possible. Your body will adapt to the treatment and exercise addressing it, and painful symptoms should reduce in frequency and intensity.
